Penhill Preceptory,These walls and graves belong to a chapel in a preceptory of the Knights Templar, built in A.D. 1,200 and handed over on there suppression in 1312 to the Hospitallers.

The chapel, the remains of which were uncovered in 1840 served adjoining residential buildings that not been exposed.
