The second set of Fairy Steps and the most well known, climb or descend without touching the sides and the Fairies will grant you a wish.
   
The steps are situated on one of Lakelands Corps Roads, coffins were maneuvered up the cleft, several iron rings are still visible where ropes were threaded through to hall up the coffins.
   
The first set of steps, no prizes for climbing this one hands free, but it is said any person with second sight will see the Fairies play here.
