A short walk today accompanied by my better half, Sue, who's more interested in having lunch out than the actual walk. Before heading inland we followed the shore north to Silverdale Cove, then up Cove Road to Holgates Caravan Park, through the caravan park to reach Arnside Tower before entering Middlebarrow Wood, we followed the northern boundary of the wood until the railway forced us to turn south into Eaves Wood, we exited Eaves Wood by the path along the edge of Woodlands, then a short walk over tarmac back to Silverdale and lunch in the beer garden of the Silverdale Hotel.
A Circuit of Middlebarrow.
